The Painted Canyon!

Today I was able to take a car up to the Painted Canyon which is part of the park accessible from the interstate 94. It was very pretty and the hike was nice too. Kind of steep in some points but for the most part easy. Here are a few pictures...I also threw in a few of wildflower pictures because one of the other rangers with me was doing a guided hike on wild flowers and didn't know what some were.

Ooopss haha that was the first snake I have seen here. Btw I didn't run it over.

Well as for the snake, it is not a rattle snake, I believe it is a bull snake. I have no idea what the flowers are haha. And Yes I am in heaven! This place gets cooler every day! Thanks for looking at my blog =)
